Senior Philip Pompei was selected as the 2008 CIF/CCS Male Scholar/Athlete of the year. This award honors accomplishments in sports and academics, and recognizes students who are role models in their community.

Students bring books, shoes and socks to the needy

Saint Francis students are bringing hope to those who are less fortunate. Through their religion classes, students collected 300 pairs of shoes and more than 200 pairs of new socks, which were donated to Saint Anthony’s in Redwood City.

Leila Haghighat named finalist in annual Bank of America competition

Senior Leila Haghighat was recently named a regional finalist in the Bank of America annual achievement awards competition, where she received a scholarship and placed third in the liberal arts category. The achievement awards honor academic accomplishments and leadership in high school seniors.
