Each advanced camp is run by members of the Saint Francis High School coaching staff. Camp participants may register for more than one camp using the single on-line registration form.
Please indicate the camp session or sessions that you wish to register for. All grades listed in this brochure relate to an individual’s grade level as of September 2013. Upon receipt of your paid registration, a confirmation will be sent for each camp.
Note: No Camps on July 4th.
Baseball Camps
Camp is designed to provide individual instruction and skills development in such areas as bunting, base running, hitting and infield and outfield fundamentals. Camp activities will include both team and individual competitions.Director: Mike Oakland, Head Varsity Coachmikeoakland@sfhs.com or 650-968-1213 ext. 617Session 1 7th - 9th grade boys Cost: $190June 17 - 21 - 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.Session 2 7th – 9th grade boys Cost: $190June 24-28 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.EquipmentAll campers must supply their own: hat, cleats (metal O.K.), glove and appropriate baseball clothing (no shorts). Also, campers need to bring tennis shoes to be worn in the batting cage. Campers will be provided with a T-shirt the first day. Campers may bring their own bats; please make sure your name is on the bat. Due to the amount of hitting during the camp it is recommended that campers wear batting gloves.Location:Campers are to meet at Higgins Field. Check in on the first day 15 minutes prior to the start of camp
Basketball Camps
Camp includes instruction in: offensive fundamentals, (including shooting, ball handling, passing and footwork) defensive fundamentals (technique and rebounding) and team strategies. Football Camp
Camp is designed to provide individual instruction and skills development for each position. All camp participants will learn offensive and defensive techniques, and the camp will culminate with a 7 on 7 passing game. The camp is a non-contact camp, but participants will wear both shoulder pads and helmets. Director: Greg Calcagno, Head Varsity Coachgregcalcagno@sfhs.com or 650-968-1213 ex. 293Session 1 7th - 9th grade boys Cost: $190July 15 – 19 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.Please bring the following with you to camp each day: shorts, socks, and football shoes. Footballs, helmets, shoulder pads, and practice jerseys will be distributed prior to the start of camp on the first Monday of each session. All players should meet out side the Angelo Aguiar Athletic complex at 8:45 AM on the first day of camp to get issued your gear. The best way to the football field is to enter Saint Francis High School via South Drive off of Grant Road.
Lacrosse Camp
Camp includes instruction in: offensive fundamentals, defensive fundamentals and team strategies. Soccer Camps
This camp will focus on improving/challenging each player’s individual skills. Camp activities will include team competitions, small-sided scrimmages and full field matches. SF varsity players will aid in the training sessions. Volleyball Camp
This camp will focus on developing individual volleyball skills as well as executing offensive and defensive team strategies. This camp is designed for any skill level. Wrestling Camps
Camp is designed to provide individual instruction in wrestling fundamentals. Participants will learn offensive and defensive strategies, as well as training techniques that include weight lifting, running and swimming.Director: TBA, Head Varsity CoachSession 1 6th-9th grade boys (Takedown) Cost: $190June 24 - 28 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.Session 2 6th-9th grade boys (Mat Wrestling) Cost: $190July 8 - 12 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.Please bring the following with you to camp each day: shorts, 2 t-shirts, running shoes, wrestling shoes (if you have them…I have some sizes for loan), swim suit and towel, and drinking water. We look forward to working with you.Location: The wrestling room is located under the north-west corner of the football bleachers.

As of May 21st, the following courses are closed; if you are interested in joining a wait list for a high school class, email summer@sfhs.com. We process the wait list and determine priority based upon the time stamp of the email. We do not run wait lists for middle school courses.

Download a PDF copy of our high school course credit form by clicking the title line above; this form needs to be signed by your home institution and returned to SFHS no later than the first week of your semester class. If this form is not returned, we cannot issue a transcript. We suggest that you keep a photo copy of the signed form for your own records. Please do not email or fax into SFHS prior to summer. Bring the hard copy to class once summer begins!
This is required for all high school students - both SFHS and non-SFHS students.
