Each advanced camp is run by members of the Saint Francis High School coaching staff. Camp participants may register for more than one camp using the single on-line registration form.
Please indicate the camp session or sessions that you wish to register for. All grades listed in this brochure relate to an individual’s grade level as of September 2013. Upon receipt of your paid registration, a confirmation will be sent for each camp.
Note: No Camps on July 4th
Camp includes instruction in: offensive fundamentals, (including shooting, ball handling, passing and footwork) defensive fundamentals (technique and rebounding) and team strategies. Activities include individual and team competitions, as well as drills for self-improvement. Field Hockey Camp
Camp is designed to provide individual and group instruction in offensive and defensive fundamentals including passing, shooting, defensive techniques and goal tending. Camp will include both individual and team competitions.Director: Kathy Lincoln, Head Varsity Coachkathylincoln@sfhs.com or 650-968-1213 ext. 670Session 1 7th-9th grade girls Cost: $190June 17-21 20 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.All campers must supply their own: water, shorts, t-shirts, socks, and cleats on the first day of camp. ALL ATHLETES MUST ALSO HAVE A MOUTHGUARD AND SHINGUARDS. Sticks will be provided. All players should meet behind Brother Robert Center (Gym II) at 12:45pm on the first day of camp. You may drop off your daughter in the 600 building parking lot off of South Drive.
Lacrosse Camp (Novice & Advanced)
Camp includes instruction in: offensive fundamentals, defensive fundamentals and team strategies. Activities include individual and team competitions, as well as drills for self-improvement. If you do not have equipment please let me know before the camp. I will have limited amount of equipment.Location:Campers are to meet under the large Bay tree in the west end-zone of the football field. This camp will work on improving players skill levels in all areas of softball from aggressive base running, hitting and bunting, to proper throwing and defensive techniques for all positions in the field. Campers will be grouped by age and ability. An actual game will be played on the final day of camp. We will also address how to adjust to any set, attack any block, and using shots to beat the defense. The setting camp will cultivate the setters ability to deliver hittable balls from any pass/dig, to offensively take control with dumping and jump setting, and to hold blocks/defenders in their spot with her body position as she sets. We will work on her anticipation to help her get to the ball sooner and body positions and reception points that will help her develop a consistent setting style.Ball control is one of the most important aspects of the game - and coaches are always looking for players, no matter their height, who will bring stability in the back court to their teams. The ball control camp is designed to help each player improve their ability both in serve receive and on defense. Your daughter will receive instruction on how to effectively pass from all floor positions and how to defend any attack. We will work on the technique and visuals required to ultimately control the ball.Special note on advanced camp: This camp is for the player who has participated on a club volleyball team for at least two years. The camp will offer the opportunity to improve individual skills and techniques. The camp will also offer the opportunity to enhance knowledge and execution of offensive and defensive team strategies.Please bring: ample drinking water, athletic apparel, athletic shoes, and knee pads with you each day to camp. Check in on the first day of your session will be in the lobby of Raskob Gym on the Saint Francis campus 15 minutes before the scheduled starting time. We look forward to working with you.

As of May 17th, the following courses are closed; if you are interested in joining a wait list, email firstname.lastname@example.org. We process the wait list and determine priority based upon the time stamp of the email.

Download a PDF copy of our high school course credit form by clicking the title line above; this form needs to be signed by your home institution and returned to SFHS no later than the first week of your semester class. If this form is not returned, we cannot issue a transcript. We suggest that you keep a photo copy of the signed form for your own records. Please do not email or fax into SFHS prior to summer. Bring the hard copy to class once summer begins!
