Transfer Students
Thank you for your interest in attending Saint Francis High School. Admission to Saint Francis High School is based on a number of criteria: grade point average in college preparatory classes from your current school, positive recommendations on the confidential reports from your current school, and attributes which you possess which will enhance the mission and philosophy of our school. Other considerations for admission include the availability of appropriate space and classes and the balance of our Catholic/non-Catholic student ratio.
As a prospective transfer student, please follow the procedures listed below:
- Complete the application form and mail to Saint Francis High School along with the $70.00 non-refundable application fee. Please attach a recent photo to your Application. Information should be received as soon as possible, but no later than May 1, 2011.
- Request an official transcript from your current school indicating grades earned in the completed courses and a progress/quarter grade report for the current semester. Include these documents with your application.
- The confidential school report forms should be given to the following: your English and Math teachers, and a school administrator. Please ask them to return the completed forms to Saint Francis High School at their earliest convenience, but no later than May 1, 2011.
- If Catholic, take the Religious Affiliation form to your parish to be filled out and returned to Saint Francis High School. This form is also due no later than May 1, 2011.
The above procedures must be completed in order for the application to be considered.
All applicant profiles are prioritized based on the criteria mentioned above. The Admissions Committee will review the applicant pool and decisions generally occur in the months of May, June, July and August (as space permits).
