Campus Student Ministry

Students from every grade level are invited to make up the Student Campus Ministry. Campus Student Ministers coordinate various ministries associated with the school’s liturgies. Student ministers can help by participating in liturgies, planning readings or creating informational posters. Students can also join clubs associated with Campus Ministry such as Pune letter writing and Legislative Advocacy. If you would like to become a Campus Student Minister, please let us know which areas you would like to participate in and we will contact you.

Catholic Schools Week

Catholic Schools Week Mass: The diocese of San Jose celebrates a Mass in January which focuses on Catholic schools. Representatives from all Catholic elementary schools and high schools join the Bishop in this Mass. Roles are given to the various students from the different schools (i.e. banner holder, usher, Eucharistic minister)

Pune Pen Pal Program

Pune, India: We financial support a very poor high school in Pune India called Hutatma Raj Guru. In an effort to encourage these students to stay in school and receive their high school diplomas, we have established a pen pal relationship with them. Saint Francis students write letters to a student in Pune describing for them a student’s life, achievements and goals here at St. Francis in an effort to encourage them to do the same in Pune.
