Today is an Activity 3 Day Schedule

  • Attention Seniors: If you ordered Graduation Announcements but did not pick them up come to Activities today to pick them up.
  • Attention Juniors and Seniors - after Easter break the following colleges will be visiting our school - Johnson and Wales University, St. Edward's, Farleigh Dickinson and Illinois Institute of Technology. San Jose State University will be visiting to see seniors admitted for Fall 2012. Check the schedule and sign up online through Family Connection.
  • On April 19 the University of Pennsylvania will be holding an Introduction to UPenn presentation at the San Jose Marriott. Check the Guidance and Counseling website under College Rep Visits for details.
  • Attention Saint Francis Community: Saint Francis will be hosting the first Saint Francis Student Film Festival on Wednesday, May 2. If you want to submit a film, your film must be responsible and professional and between 2 and 12 minutes. Categories include Action, Drama, Comedy, Documentary, Animation, Music Video and Experimental. Film submissions are due by Monday, April 23. Applications are available in the Activities Office.
  • Here is your Street Eats Update! Lancer Café is serving Organic Spaghetti and Homemade Meatballs served with Organic Caesar Salad and Garlic Bread.
  • Attention all Seniors. Summer at Saint Francis is accepting applications for summer TA positions. The application is on the school webpage. Click on "Academics," then click on "Summer School," and you will find all the materials you need. Please see Mr. Danna or Ms. Walsh with any questions.
  • Attention Shakespeare Club and interested students: if you would like to see Aldo Billingslea in Othello on April 22 sign up now in 524 - only 3 spots in the van remain.
  • Lady Lancers open their season with Senior Night tonight vs Cupertino at Twisters gym starting at 5:00 p.m. Good Luck Girls!
  • Boys’ Varsity Golf defeated Sacred Heart yesterday194 – 220. Richard Ayala, Saint Francis, medalist with a 36.
  • The Lancer JV Golf team took down The Irish on Tuesday at Flemming Golf Course in San Francisco. Co-medalists Anshul Sitaram and Drew Silva led the scoring with Evan Sheahan close behind. The boys face Valley Christian at Shoreline on Thursday.
  • On Monday the Varsity Softball team lost a non-league game to Homestead 9-6. Yesterday, they bounced back to beat WCAL foe, St. Ignatius, 5-3 & improved their overall record to 11-5. Seniors Jessie Hinojosa & Gina Halenbeck each had 2 hits, while Juniors Maddie Damore & Carolyn McGuire each had a hit & 2 RBI’s, Alyssa Vukcevich added a double to the offense & Jackie Hinojosa had a hit & 2 runs scored. Thank you to the Boys’ Varsity Volleyball team for coming out to our game.
