Lancers Defeat Palma in Holiday Tournament (Basketball Boys Home Page)

Saint Francis defeated Palma-Salinas 52-44 in the third place game of the Holiday Tournament. The Lancers trailed 9-8 after one period before taking the lead for good by outscoring Palma 17-9 in the second. Saint Francis was in front 25-18 at halftime and 36-31 after three periods. Drew Dickey and Jarod Diaz each scored 13 to lead St. Francis.Khalid Johnson scored 8, Khalil Johnson scored 7, Frazier added 6 on two 3pointers and Tratter added 5. Tournament MVP: Marcus Lee (Deer Valley), All-tournament team: Mohaannad Halaweh (Analy), Brian Kaestner (Mountain View), Olajuwon Garner (Deer Valley), Drew Dickey (Saint Francis), Michael Smith (El Camino).
