Two students named top winners of art competition

Angelique Ries and Justine Law are winners of the Rotary Young at Art competition and their work will be displayed publicly in downtown Los Altos.
Angelique won first place for “Ready, set, go,” a charcoal piece, and Justine received second place for “Tiger,” a watercolor. The art competition was open to art students from local high schools.
The winning artwork will be displayed at the Young at Art exhibit held at three venues in downtown Los Altos -- Bank of the West on Main Street, Borel Bank on San Antonio Road and Northern Trust on 2nd Street. On May 19-20, the exhibit moves to the Gazebo at the Annual Los Altos Rotary “Fine Art in the Park” event at Lincoln Park across Foothill Expressway from downtown Los Altos.
