"It was the best of times....." to borrow a portion of the quote from Charles Dickens, the era of Saint Francis athletic history that is the 1992-93 school year. In its greatest athletic year, Saint Francis won a record seven Central Coast Section championships plus six league championships in the West Catholic Athletic league and 10 in the De Anza Athletic league. "A remarkable achievement," related then Athletic Director Steve DeMaestri. Many team and individual records were established in the 1992-93 school year, some by those that were honored at the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on April 28. The Saint Francis hall of Fame dates back to 1971 and with the current inductees now has 183 members. The Team Hall of Fame now includes 43 teams.
