SF speech and debate team among nation’s top programs

The Saint Francis speech and debate program has been recognized for placing in the top 1 percent of all National Forensic League chapters nationwide.

The program is coached by moderators Mr. Dennis and Mr. Foy. Director of Activities Simon Raines praised the team for its successes and its acclaim at the national level.

“Over the years, Mr. Dennis and Mr. Foy have taken a small group of students who competed at a local level with little success into one of the largest programs on campus that competes with a high level of success at the state and national level,” Mr. Raines said. “If there were CCS banners for Speech and Debate, our teams would routinely win titles each year.”
