Out-of-state colleges to Saint Francis
Posted November 30
Researching colleges can be a stressful and time-consuming process. To help make it easier for students, the Guidance and Counseling office recently hosted a college fair, inviting 15 out--of-state colleges to speak to students.
The out-of-state college fair, the first such event at Saint Francis, drew many students during both lunches. Students appreciated the ability to find out about school programs, important deadlines, tuition costs, or even colleges they had not considered.
“This is a good way to compare schools,” senior Colin Glenday said. “A lot of us are busy and don’t have time to go to college fairs outside of school. This allows you to see everything about a school for the first time.”
The following colleges were represented at the fair:
Hawaii Pacific University
Holy Family University
Lafayette College
Purdue University
University of Arizona
Oregon State University
University of Oklahoma
Marist College
University of Nevada, Reno
University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS)
Regis University
Seton Hall University
University of Limerick
Bradley University
Colorado Mesa University
