Summer Programs Employment Opportunities

Faculty positions for the coming summer are typically posted in February and March, although sometimes earlier. Faculty are typically hired in March and April. Check back frequently in the Spring for current job openings. 

Teacher's Assistant positions are posted in February and applications are due to Vice Principal Mike Kemp by March 15th.

Interested applicants for all positions should submit a job application (found below) along with personal résumé, letter of intent and purpose, and a list of three professional references (for Faculty) or a copy of your college transcript (for Teachers's Assistants). Qualified applicants who have submitted all required documents will be contacted regarding the next steps.

Teacher's Assistants

 Job Description & Ideal Applicants:  A Teacher's Assistant acts as the primary assistant to the teacher in the classroom, helping with all administrative and curricular needs. Therefore, we are looking for college or graduate students who are interested in teaching as a profession, who enjoy tutoring high and middle school age students, and collaborating with instructors. Applicants that have prior experience in a classroom setting (including former SFHS summer employment), and/or have an academic expertise in the particular subject area opening, will be given priority.
