In lieu of a sophomore retreat, all sophomores will go on a mandatory service learning day with their Religious Studies class. The sophomore service learning day is at HOPE Services in Mountain View, working with developmentally disabled individuals. A follow-up prayerful reflection will follow this day of service.
This optional retreat is an overnight retreat held at Vallombrosa Retreat Center in Menlo Park. The retreat centers on the theme of life journey. It gives the students an opportunity to examine their relationship with self, friends, family and God.
Seniors have the opportunity to go on the student led Holy Cross Retreat. All retreats are at the Jesuit Retreat Center in Los Altos. These retreats give students an experience of silence and solitude that enriches the student’s life in a myriad of ways.
