    Today is an Activity 2 Day Schedule

    • Anyone that has turned in their permission slips for the Beach Clean Up trip needs to meet the bus by 7:45 a.m. by the pool parking lot. Check in with Ms. Preis and Mr Meyer.
    • Attention Lancers! Campus Student Ministries will be hosting its first club meeting of the year this Wednesday during both lunches. First Lunch will meet in the Sobrato Commons, Second Lunch will meet in the Little Theater! We will be talking about upcoming events and club activities. Bring your lunch and a friend! See you there!
    • A reminder for any freshmen interested in volunteering with the Buddies4Math program: you must attend the mandatory orientation session today from 4-6pm. Check your email from Ms. Frankovic for more information.
    • All students remember that tomorrow is the Teen Volunteer Fair at Lexus of Stevens Creek from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. If you are looking for an agency to volunteer with, this is a great opportunity to get connected! They will offer a complimentary breakfast and have a raffle for an iPad mini. Check your emails from Ms. Frankovic for the flyer with location and more information.
    • Today is the last day of the Activity Fair! Here are the clubs participating today: Science and Engineering, Science Bowl and Research @ SF, Environmental, Lancer iPad Squad, BRIC Brothers, Stock Market, Book / Online Reading Clubs, Student Wellness Group, Math Club and Chamber Choir / Strings Ensemble, Surf Club, Glee / Acapella, and Home Game Decorating Clubs. Come to Sobrato Commons Porch today at lunch to see what these clubs are all about! Sign up – Get Involved!!
    • Colleges visiting today are Caltech, Savannah College of Art and Design, St. Michaels during Second Lunch and the University of Oregon at 1:55 p.m. Seniors need the blue pass from Counseling for the University of Oregon presentation. For the colleges visiting next week, check the listing and sign up on Family Connection. Please sign up if you plan to attend so we know what size facility to reserve.
    • Hello Students! Service Club is kicking off our first event of the year - the Fall Blood Drive. The Drive will take place on October 16, and signups will begin next week. Look for Service Club Board members in the Quad at lunch to sign up! Over 20 percent of our nation's blood donations come from high school and college students - consider doing your part and donating!
    • The Science and Engineering Club will be having its first movie night of the year Friday September 26. Come join us for a night of sci-fi, food, and fun! The movie night will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Room 107. We will be watching the classic movie "Minority Report"! Everyone is welcome, so come and bring a friend! Bring $5 for dinner OR bring a plate of food to share. Afterwards, we will join with the Astronomy Club for some stargazing! Start your weekend with a bang at our movie night! Hope to see you there!
    • Here is an announcement from Campus Ministry: All Juniors and Seniors were sent an email yesterday to confirm your retreat dates. Please check your email. If you did not receive a confirmation email, please see Ms. Franco as soon as possible. There are only a few openings left for both Junior and Senior retreats. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity.
    • Here is today’s Street Eats update! Lancer Café is serving Thai Beef Satay served with white steamed rice and Broccoli. Tomato Basil made from scratch is today’s soup of the day.
    • School Pictures are in! If you ordered pictures on Registration Day, please come to the Activities Office today to pick up your pictures.
    • Attention Shakespeare Club members and interested students - the Shakespeare Club will meet today at the beginning of both lunch periods in the Activities Meeting Room. Plans will be finalized for Meow Meow at Berkeley Rep and Valley of the Heart at Teatro Campesino and the first information on this year's Ashland trip will be presented. Don't miss it!
    • Boys’ Varsity Water Polo defeated Saint Ignatius with a resounding 17-11 league opener. Great job boys!
    • Congratulations to the Girls’ JV Tennis team for their 7-0 victory over Presentation High School Tuesday afternoon at Cuesta Courts. Singles wins were posted by Katelyn Nguyen, Eveline Bedard, and Kirsten Leong. The doubles teams of Jordan Jue and Dani Adams, Jo Jo Seman and Olivia Valenzuela and Kiana Dehpanah and Binita Nandy also recorded impressive victories.
    • The Girls’ Golf team picked up another win Wednesday, defeating the Presentation Panthers at Shoreline Golf Course. Bibi Liu, Valerie Wang, Maya Pugatch and Grace Chen all shot 38 and shared medalist honors. The girls finished off a productive week, and pushed their league record to 4 & 0, by defeating the Notre Dame Tigers at Shoreline yesterday. It was a day for freshmen. Freshman Medalist, Maya Pugatch led the scoring with a 2-over-par 38. Anusha Singh and Reisha Savadati (both freshmen) were close behind. Next week the girls face St. Ignatius Tuesday at Presidio Golf Course in San Francisco, and Valley Christian at Coyote Creek on Wednesday. Congratulations and good luck girls!
    • The Lady Lancer Varsity Tennis team defeated Valley Christian 4-3 yesterday. Good performances from Illina Yang, Jordan Barrett, Jasmine Wong, Amy Burke, Vandana Reddy, Vrinda Vasavada, & Christine Garver. Great Going Girls!
