    Today is an Activity 2 Day Schedule

    • Girls’ JV Tennis tryouts have been cancelled for today (Thursday) . Tryouts will resume tomorrow immediately after school. All girls trying out should report to the porch of Graham Theater immediately after school tomorrow. Once again, NO tryouts today. Tryouts resume tomorrow.
    • Attention all students - a camera was left in the Counseling Office on Monday - please see Mrs. Weber if you are missing a camera.
    • Attention all freshman: If you are interested in being a Shadow Host this coming Fall, there will be a mandatory meeting in the Performing Arts Center at 8:10 a.m. during Collaboration this Monday the 25th. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Hall in the Front Office. See you Monday morning at 8:10 a.m.
    • Reminder to Seniors: The Student/Parent COLLEGE ADMISSIONS WORKSHOP is this Sunday August 24 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on the Saint Francis campus.
    • Friday is the last day to put in a request to drop a class. See the Counselors to fill out the form. The deadline has passed to request dropping any course that requires a CONTRACT.
    • If you requested a schedule change - you can pick up your new schedule in the Counseling Office.
    • Are you interested in auditioning for the fall production for the spring musical? Do you want to perform improve or sketch comedy throughout the year or participate in the annual performing arts showcase? Do you love working with costumes, sets, lighting or sound? Great! Then please join us this Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center for our Drama Announcement party where we will tell you all about this year's opportunities for students in performing arts. Snacks will be provided. Yay!
    • Mindframes Literary Magazine will be having its first general meeting of the year for returning members only. Come hang out at Room 504 on August 25 at 8:00 a.m. That’s Monday, August 25. See you there!
    • For any sophomore, junior, or senior interested in joining the Women of BRIC, there's an information meeting this coming Monday during collaboration. Meet in 401 at 8:15 a.m.
    • "Interested in gaming? Want to get involved? If you answered these questions YES then come to Room 402 on August 25 at 8:00 a.m. during collaboration to find out about getting involved in the St. Francis Gaming Club.
    • The Anime Club welcomes everyone to our first meeting, Tuesday, August 26, after school in Room 403.
    • The National Honor Society, which recognizes students for outstanding scholarship, character, leadership and service, is now accepting applications for new membership. To apply, you must be a junior or senior with a cumulative weighted GPA of at least 3.5 and a weighted GPA of 3.5 or higher from the previous semester. Additionally, all applicants should have a clear academic and disciplinary record over the past calendar year. Pick up applications in the Activities Office and submit them there or to Ms. Nassir in Counseling no later than Friday, August 29. This is a hard deadline! Existing members need not re-apply. See Ms. Nassir if you have any questions.
    • In search of a leadership opportunity? Service Club is now taking board member applications for this school year. Any sophomore, junior or senior may apply. Applications are available with Ms. Hagg in Activities or Ms. Walsh in 624.
    • Attention returning Shakespeare Club members and interested students: our first general meeting will be held on Wednesday August 27 at the beginning of both lunch periods in the Activities meeting room. Bring your lunch and find out what the board has planned for us this year. Also, a small group of tickets have been reserved to see Spamalot at the City Lights Theater in San Jose on that same Wednesday evening. Stop by 524 right away as only 5 remain!
    • Attention all freshman interested in playing a fall sport. If you missed the signups last week during orientation, please stop by the Athletic Office to pick up a flyer with fall sport information.
    • JV and Freshmen Water Polo try outs begin on Friday after school. Be on the pool deck at 2:45 p.m. suited ready to go. Check your email for more information or see Mr. Chechelnitsky or Mr. Collins if you have any questions.

    • Hey Co-ed Flag Football Fans! Our Intramural staff is organizing another Co-ed Flag Football Double-Elimination Tournament. Find five friends of both genders, form a team, design a catchy football related theme team name, and go to the Activities Office to pick up an team entry page or find Mr. Dinneen in the Quad to get started. We will take signups till Friday August 29. See you out there for Co-ed Flag Football!!!
