Registration for the Oct. 7 Service Day is now closed. Thanks to all who registered. We will host another event in the spring.
Saint Francis families and alumni are participating in our third work day with 2nd Mile, a non-profit organization "that provides a field of projects for people to go beyond the ordinary.” All ages are welcome, and you may work for as long as you are able throughout the day.
- We will meet at Saint Francis at 8 :00 a.m. so we can gather, pray and eat, and then we will leave at about 8:30 a.m. to go to Redwood City to work on a renovation of Roosevelt School.
- Wear clothes to work in and that you aren't afraid to get dirty or to get paint on.
- 2nd Mile provides lunch, shirts, work gloves, tools and leadership.
It would be great if each volunteer could donate $20 toward the materials needed for the project. The donation form can be found online. Thank you for helping us go the extra mile for others! 100% of your gift goes towards project costs, unless otherwise specified by the giver. Your gift is also 100% tax deductible.
