Welcome to the Women’s Club Website!
On behalf of the Saint Francis Women’s Club, I want to welcome you and your family to this year at Saint Francis High School and to encourage you to participate in as many of our activities as possible. Our 2011-2012 theme, “Make a Difference”, inspires us to look outside ourselves to find ways that we can help others. No matter how much time you have to give, there are many ways for you to help the school, and in doing so, you will meet many new friends. Each of us brings a wealth of ability, energy and inspiration that can make a profound impact on our community.
You automatically become a Women’s Club member by virtue of being a woman who parents a Saint Francis student. We sponsor a wide range of events throughout the year, including educational, social, charitable and fundraising activities, and it is your participation that makes each event a success. Our major fundraiser, Christmas at Our House, requires hundreds of volunteers, from data entry to decorators. If you can give a little time every week, or have only a few hours to spare during the first week of December, please come join the fun.
Our combined efforts bring us the joy of fellowship and lasting friendships along with the opportunity to support our children and our school. As our patron, St. Francis said, “it is in giving that we receive”. It is up to you to take the step to become involved and make a difference by giving of your time and talents. Our school encourages student involvement, and we believe that the parents benefit by becoming involved as well.
