On behalf of the Saint Francis Women’s Club, welcome to the Saint Francis Women’s Club website! If you are a past or present Saint Francis mom, you are automatically a member of this special group of Women who share their time andt alents with the St. Francis family.
I extend a very special welcome to any new moms who are joining our community. My advice to you is to get involved! I can assure you that participation in our projects and activities will enrich the experience for both you and your child over the next four years. Our combined efforts bring us the joy of fellowship and lasting friendships along with the opportunity to support our children and our school.
We sponsor a wide range of events throughout the year, including educational, social, charitable and fundraising activities, and our volunteers make each event a success. Our major fundraiser, Christmas at Our House, requires hundreds of volunteer hours ranging from data entry to decorators. If you can give a little time every week, or even if you only have a few hours to spare during the first week of December I encourage you to join in the fun!
With inspiration from Matthew 5:14-16, our theme for this year is "Let Your Light Shine". God has given each person unique gifts and talents, and He calls us to use them to serve the people around us. When we are generous and use our gifts, God’s Light shines through us. I have seen countless examples of this through the wonderful and talented ladies I have worked with in the Women’s Club over the past six years.
As our patron, St. Francis said, “It is in giving that we receive”. It is up to you to take the step to become involved by giving of your time and talents.
I look forward to seeing you on campus and working with you this year. Please contact me, or any of the Women’s Club officers should you have any questions.
2013 –2014 Saint Francis Women's Club President
