    Today is a Gold 1 Day Schedule

    • Attention all fall female student athletes. There will be a mandatory meeting for all fall female student athletes today with Mr. Pilawski. All female student athletes will meet TODAY right after the last bell (2:15 p.m.) in the Performing Arts Center. Please come from your last period of the day to the meeting. You can get changed for practice after the meeting. Thank you.
    • The National Honor Society is accepting applications for new membership. Pick up applications in the Activities Office and submit them there or to Ms. Nassir in Counseling. All applications are due by the end of the day today! This is a hard deadline! Existing members need not re-apply. See Ms. Nassir if you have any questions.
    • On September 3, during both lunches, the International Club is going to have the first Club meeting of the year. Please come to the Commons at the beginning of first and second lunch. New and old members are welcome!
    • Come to the first Science and Engineering club meeting of the year on Wednesday September 3, at 8:00 a.m. in Room 107. We will be announcing our events for fall semester. Everyone is welcome! Hope to see you there!
    • Attention all students: If you were not here on Registration Day to take your picture, Make-Up Picture day is next Wednesday, September 3 in the Performing Arts Green Room starting at 7:45 a.m.
    • Attention All Interactors: Our first meeting of the year is today at second lunch only. Meet in the Sobrato Commons for the first half of second lunch, grab your lunches and come on over to hear about upcoming events (including the Fall Leadership Conference) and what else we have planned for this year! The First Lunch meeting will take place next Tuesday, September 3 in the Commons.
    • Mindframes, the Saint Francis literary magazine that publishes student and faculty writing, art, and photography will be on sale today during lunch in the Quad. The cost of the magazine is $5.
    • There is a Shakespeare Club meeting today at second lunch. Please meet in the Activities Office Meeting Room. Bring your lunch and find out what exciting activities we have planned for the year.
    • Have you always wanted to be front and center of all the courtroom drama? Are you thinking about a career in law? Do you want to be part of one of the most fun teams on campus? Well then, Mock Trial may be for YOU. Attention all students interested in joining Mock Trial: Tryouts will take place this Tuesday September 9 at 2:30 p.m. in the Counseling meeting room. Please see Ms. Feizzadeh in the Guidance Office to receive your script to practice in preparation for tryouts. Please keep in mind, all returning members are REQUIRED to tryout.     • Attention Juniors and Seniors: Campus Ministry is accepting applications for junior and senior retreats. These fill up quickly so make sure you sign up. Applications are on the Campus Ministry webpage under retreats. See Mrs. Franco with any questions.
    • Here is your Street Eats Update! Today Lancer Café will be serving French Dip Sandwiches with Au Jus, Garlic Jo-Jo Potatoes and Cole Slaw. Today’s soup is Boston Clam Chowder made from scratch.
    • Attention students who expressed interest in Home Game Decorating club: We will be starting right after school next Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at the Activities Office in preparation for Friday's first home football game. Come ready to meet others, grab some snacks and decorate!
    • Attention Juniors and Seniors: Today is the last day to submit the CSF Membership Application, CSF Tutor Application and CSF TA application. If you have any questions, please refer to the email sent last week or stop by the Counseling Center to speak with Mrs. Jorgenson. Applications are due by 2:30 p.m.
    • Attention Freshmen: Today is the last day to turn in your Green Connection Ticket to your counselor. If you have not already turned the ticket in, please drop by the Counseling Center to turn it in and for the chance to be entered into a raffle.
    • Service Club is taking board member applications. Any sophomore, junior or senior may apply. Applications are available in Activities or with Ms. Walsh in 624. Applications are due today.
    • Any sophomore, junior or senior trying out for Boys’ Basketball. There is a meeting with the coaching staff TODAY at lunch in Raskob Memorial. Get your lunch and then report to Raskob. See Coach Motil if you have any questions.

    • Hey Co-ed Flag Football Fans! Find five friends of both genders, form a flag football team with a catchy football themed name, and get an entry sheet from the Activities Office or drop by Mr. Dinneen's room to enter the upcoming Double Elimination Co-ed Flag Football Team Tournament starting next week. We will be taking entries till 12:00 p.m. TODAY and Mr. Dinneen will be meeting with all the team captains next Wednesday at the start of their lunch period to review rules and schedules.
    • Remember, if you have different lunch periods, you can play on two different teams, but you may not be on two teams at the same time in the same lunch period. Get involved! Coed Intramural Flag Football..... The place to be!
