Tuition & Affordability

Our goal is to make a Saint Francis education affordable and accessible to as many students as possible.

Saint Francis maintains a strong tuition assistance program and is committed to remaining a diverse, vigorous and inclusive community. Our tuition assistance program is designed to help families bridge the gap between their own financial resources and the cost of a Saint Francis education.

Saint Francis High School tuition for the 2021-2022 academic school year is $22,250. The tuition includes an initial tuition payment of $1,000. For the 2021-2022 academic school year, this $1,000 payment is due on May 5, 2021 for returning students.

Financial Assistance

Saint Francis seeks to make its education available to every eligible student who would benefit from a Catholic, Holy Cross education, no matter his/her financial status. Assistance is solely granted on the basis of financial need with the amount of the award dependent upon the resources available. All entering students who apply for assistance will be considered. Applying for financial assistance has no bearing on the admission process.

All students enrolled in the financial assistance program are required to maintain good grades and good citizenship. Recipients of financial assistance are required to achieve at least a 2.0 GPA in all of their classes.

Financial Assistance Application

Each year, an online application is to be submitted by all families requesting consideration for financial assistance. FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment will be conducting the financial need analysis for Saint Francis High School for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year, based on the application and necessary supporting documentation. Applicants can apply online by clicking the FACTS link that is at the bottom of this page. Once an online application has been completed, the following information will need to be sent to FACTS to complete the application process:

  • Copies of your most recent Federal tax forms including all supporting tax schedules.
  • Copies of your 2019 W-2 and 1099 forms for both you and your spouse.
  • Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers' Compensation, and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).
  • The Diocese of San Jose requires that in cases of divorced, separated, or never married families, both parents need to fill out and submit a FACTS application to be considered for assistance.
  • If you do not have internet access at home to complete the online financial assistance application, we recommend that you visit your local public library. Most libraries offer access to computers and the internet free of charge.

All supporting documentation can be uploaded in PDF and JPEG format online.

If you have questions or concerns about the applications process, you may speak with a FACTS Customer Care Representative in English or Spanish at 1-866-315-9262.

Upon the receipt of a verified assessment from FACTS, Saint Francis will review and provide their assessment.

Delays in completing the application or submitting the required documentation may result in less or no assistance awarded.
