What is the Alumni Class Endowed Scholarship Program (ACES)?
There is an established endowed scholarship fund for every Saint Francis and Holy Cross class from 1959 to 2019. Gifts to these funds have exponential power because they are combined with gifts from classmates. Once accumulated donations reach $10,000, five percent of the interest earned is available annually to grant financial aid to a deserving student. These endowments ensure the perpetual health of our school and support students for generations to come.
Does a small donation really make a difference?
Absolutely! A gift of any size makes a big difference because it gets combined with gifts from classmates, thereby increasing the returns on the investment. When schools are assessed by other institutions, alumni participation percentages reflect a strength of community. We know our alumni support many worthwhile causes and ask that you include your alma mater in your philanthropic planning.
Who are the recipients of the Alumni Class Endowed Scholarships?
Tuition assistance is granted annually to students with good conduct and academic standing and documented financial need.
How do I give?
Saint Francis Students Receiving Tuition Assistance Say
"I want you to know that I will always do my very best to be an excellent student and a good Holy Cross man. You have taught me the importance of giving, and I hope one day, I too will be able to give a student a gift as great as you have given to me and my family."
"Having the opportunity to attend Saint Francis has made me into a more outgoing, confident, and hard-working person. Without your generosity I could be living a completely different life. I will always be grateful and honored that you care about my education and my future. Thank you."
