Lancer Family Connection

Lancer Family Connection is our way of describing and forming the parent and family experience at Saint Francis. It was developed from the leadership work of Lancer parents over the past several years and committed to the vision of every family being fully engaged in our school community. While it includes many of the traditional parent involvement opportunities expected at such a busy, exciting high school, it is much more.

As a current Saint Francis family, you are part of Lancer Family Connection in every experience with our school community. When you are warmly greeted on campus or extend a smile to one another, when you attend a Saint Francis event or join a planning committee, when you feel the Lancer spirit and zeal from our students and families at gatherings you are experiencing Lancer Family Connection firsthand. These connections enrich our experiences and benefit our entire community and are the foundation for our family formation in Holy Cross education. We invite you to visit the Lancer Family Connection page to discover pathways for involvement and engagement with our community.

Schoology Parent Groups

As part of Lancer Family Connection, our Schoology Parent Groups are our online forum to enhance parent connections, engagement and updates. Do you have a question for other parents? Are you looking for insight and guidance from fellow community members? Grade-level parent groups in Schoology provide an opportunity for connection between parents, particularly with parents of your student’s classmates. Group members can ask questions of other parents, post opportunities to connect at events, and share resources.

Comments and posts are designed to encourage connection and conversation between parents. For more information visit the Schoology Parent Groups page and log on to Schoology. Here you can watch a how-to video and learn how to get started.

Carpool & Sustainable Transportation

We have made significant improvements to our Sustainable Transportation Program by offering subsidies for public transit and bicycle resources including user groups and additional bike racks on campus. We have also upgraded our carpool resources, including a new interactive map on our parent portal showing locations of families who have expressed an interest in carpooling. Thank you to all students and families for your efforts in utilizing sustainable transportation options, and helping our school limit the number of trips to campus and  ease traffic congestion in our neighborhood community.
