Saint Francis vs Bellarmine Bocce Tournament There is no greater tradition at Saint Francis than the fierce Bellarmine rivalry! Help us secure another Lancer victory by playing a part in the 5th Annual SF vs. Bellarmine Bocce Ball Tournament on Wednesday, November 6th. Form a team or come to socialize and cheer. If you can't join us, you can still help secure a Lancer win by being a sponsor. Whether on the bocce court, on the field or when raising funds to help our students, it's always great to Beat the Bells. Thank you to event sponsor, Rich Papapietro '92 at De Anza Tile, bar sponsor Adam '93 and Lindsay DeMaestri of Banner Express, court sponsors the Giannotta Family ('72, '06, '07 and '09) of McKee Road Mini Storage and Pepe '74 and Sue Hinojosa, and team sponsor Tom '75 and Karen Quaglia for starting us off in the lead for most funds raised. Teams are almost full; register today! View past event photos and get more info here. Grand Reunion The incredible bonds in this community were on full display at the 2019 Grand Reunion at Saint Francis. It's great to see classmates reunited, often at the very location they first formed friendships and connections. This reunion was extra special because we welcomed back the very first Saint Francis graduates, the Class of '59. Check out the reunion slideshow at sfhs.com/reunion2019 to see photos of all of our reunion classes and evidence of a great celebration!
Memorial Mass Our Saint Francis Holy Cross community will gather in prayer at the Celebration of Life Memorial Mass on Monday, November 4th at 7:00 pm in the Brother's Chapel. Alumni families are invited to submit the name of loved ones for the Saint Francis Memorial Book or register to attend the Mass and reception here. President's Club Celebration Several alumni were honored by Jason Curtis at the President's Club Celebration last week, including Tony Mirenda '78, recipient of the St. Andre of Montreal Service award. Tony serves on the Endowment Committee, presents at the Alumni Speaker Series, designs and builds sets for the annual spring musical, and continuously provides financial support to Saint Francis. Tony attributes his desire to give back as a value that was instilled during his time as a student at Saint Francis.
