Dear Saint Francis Families,
Blessed Basil Moreau reminded Holy Cross educators, "How we educate the mind will change with the times; how we cultivate the heart is and will remain timeless." Certainly during this period of remote learning our classroom educators are working creatively to make sure that our students continue to progress in their learning, and we are just as committed to continue building and supporting the school community that our students and families love.
A significant part of our commitment to cultivation of the heart is ensuring that our families have all the support and resources that they need, especially in times of crisis. Saint Francis has committed to supporting our current families from increasing our resources available for tuition assistance to making technology and living support available to students in need. We have already started working with our families, and we will continue to find ways to continue to meet challenges as they arise in the coming months.
In this difficult time, we want to directly offer our support for your student and family. Our Board of Directors and entire administration is fully committed to meeting the financial needs of our families to every extent possible, ensuring that outstanding Holy Cross education remains accessible. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your family's tuition obligation or other needs at this time, we encourage you to contact our Director of Tuition Assistance, Mrs. Maryann O'Leary (maryannoleary@sfhs.com) as soon as possible.
Many of you have also reached out to the school asking how you can help Saint Francis in meeting the needs of our families who are most impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. For those of you wishing to support our efforts, we ask that you please contribute to the Saint Francis Fund. The Saint Francis Fund supports all of our school programs including tuition assistance, and your contribution will directly impact our ability to ensure continued access to tuition support, technology and Internet, and other resources for our Lancer families. As always, please know how grateful we are for the generous spirit of our school community.
We continue to keep you and your families in our prayers, and are committed to meeting the needs of all our students with a certain hope that when we are able to return to campus the Saint Francis family will be stronger than ever.
Yours in Holy Cross,
