Alumni,
As Christmas approaches, I hope this email finds you and your family well and enjoying the beauty and bright lights of Advent, the season of Hope.
Bringing hope to others is a primary tenet of the Saint Francis Holy Cross tradition. During this hopeful and joyful season, I'd like to share some beautiful images that perfectly reflect these virtues. Thank you to Kimberly Brosseau '91, Cassidy Willingham Ozowara '02, Dominique Reynaga Voelker '04 and Brandon Voelker '04 for sending us photos of their adorable Little Lancers. It's hard not to smile and feel joyful looking at these faces.
During a time when I'm missing interactions with Saint Francis students, educators and alumni, as well as many of my family and friends, I'm surrounded by examples of hope, including the images above. I also see hope in the alumni taking time to help our current students and young alumni. I see it in the $10 donations we get from the very young alumni who want to help current Lancer students receive tuition assistance like they themselves received. And I see it in the consistent annual gifts from Lancers who graduated decades ago.
I hope in the coming days you witness many examples of hope and joy. Please know that despite the physical distance that separates us, you continue to be close in our thoughts and our prayers for your health and happiness.
On behalf of Saint Francis students, teachers and staff, I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday Season!
Our tradition continues… Go Lancers! Saint Francis High School, sponsored by the Brothers of Holy Cross, admits students of any race, color and national or ethnic origin.
