Clubs and Activities

Part of the high school experience is finding out who you are and exploring your interests with others who share those interests. With more than 60 clubs and activities to choose from, we have something for every student at Saint Francis. Here are just a few ways you can get involved:

BRIC Brothers

This club encourages Holy Cross Men to live out the school’s values of BRIC, as we are Brothers Reaching Into the Community.

Environmental Club

The Environmental Club was established to foster and preserve a sense of responsibility for our environment through daily and global habits. If you have an interest in improving your campus and your community and preserving it for the future, come and join us.

Robotics

The Robotics club is a project-oriented program. Students will have competitions throughout the year with assignments that are designed to teach different concepts.

Service Club

Service Club members manage the Thanksgiving Food Drive, two blood drives, a coat and a shoe drive, as well as helping out at a variety of school functions.

Speech & Debate

Team members compete in the Coast and National Forensics Leagues, as well as other local oratorical contests, qualifying competitors to the state and national tournaments.

Stand Up! Speak Up!

Stand Up! Speak Up! is a social justice and activist club which seeks to educate our school community about various social problems thatoccur in our immediate community, our nation and our world.

Student Council

The student government at Saint Francis works to improve school spirit, monitor clubs and activities, represent the needs of the student body, make recommendation to the Administration and promote the values of Holy Cross.

Women of BRIC

This club promotes self-determination, self-respect and self-confidence among the Holy Cross Women of our school.

Ice Hockey

The Saint Francis Ice Hockey team participates in the JV San Jose Sharks Ice High School hockey league October - March. Students of all levels are welcome to participate although all ice hockey gear is to be provided by the student. Opponents include Bellarmine, Mitty, Valley Christian, and more. Come join the club or cheer on the team at one of the local games. View schedule

Quiz Bowl

Quiz Bowl is a game that tests players on a wide variety of academic subjects in science, math, history, literature, fine arts. as well as current events, Quiz Bowl meets weekly to prepare for various competitive tournaments. The matches feature a blend of individual competition and team collaboration.
