The arrival of fall means celebrating many back-to-school traditions, including the Grand Reunion. More than 400 Saint Francis and Holy Cross alumni returned to campus for the third annual event. Judging by the hugs and laughter, it was an overwhelming success.
The classes of 1967, 1977, 1987, 1997 and 2007 arrived on campus to reunite, reminisce and create cross-generational connections. The festivities included dinner, music, dancing and an endless stream of photo opps. Current Lancers offered campus tours, while teachers and administrators in attendance were able to reconnect with former students.
The Grand Reunion sparked many old memories. In particular for the Holy Cross Class of 1967, members were excited to commemorate their 50th reunion and donated meaningful high school mementos to Saint Francis in hopes of displaying them as a collection.
“I’m often impressed by all of our alumni and their strong commitment to keep in touch with each other and their alma mater,” said alumni director Greg Calcagno ’83. “Alumni are an important part of our community, and we are always grateful for their presence on campus.”
