At the interfaith prayer service, Ms. Safier shared how she makes choices to be calm every single moment despite circumstances constantly changing around her. She described her daily practice of tai chi and showed techniques to use during times of conflict or confusion. Ms. Safier shared the “Four Agreements” and combined them with tai chi moves.
The Four Agreements are:
1. Be impeccable with your words - snap fingers
2. Don’t take anything personally - rub hands
3. Don’t make assumptions - pat knees
4 Always do your best - do “cloud hands”
