"A Chorus Line" strikes a chord
Posted 03/09/2018 03:18PM

The stage is bursting with talent this month as students in the musical “A Chorus Line” enthusiastically tell the story of dancers who are working toward their dreams of performing in a hit Broadway production.

Cast members are confident that the production will feel relevant to anyone who has a passion and has had to put everything on the line. Their characters describe the victories and struggles they encountered on their journeys to become dancers.

“When you find out who the characters are, you connect with all of them because they each tell their story,” said senior Pablo Arias.

Being cast in the musical has been a rewarding experience for Pablo because, like all other students in the production, he has enjoyed taking on additional responsibilities, such as props, lighting and mentoring students new to the drama program.

“We’re all there to make the show the best it can be,” he said.

“A Chorus Line,” directed by Ms. Rose, runs March 9, 10, 15-17, 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the door or online.
