Patricia & Alex Tennant Financial Aid Fund
After 37 years at Saint Francis, Mrs. Tennant is retiring at the end of the 2017-18 year. In addition to the role of principal, which she served for 22 years, she has worn many hats, including director of academics, guidance and counseling department chair, English teacher, as well as moderator for the junior class, the senior class and the Challenge Success campus club.
Her impact to our school is immeasurable. She made sure that the work and spirit of the Holy Cross Brothers would remain strong at Saint Francis, despite the Brothers no longer living on campus. In addition, she oversaw the growth of Saint Francis as an institution where students truly receive a well-rounded education. As principal, she insisted that her job is to serve others, and she has been a visionary, a mentor and a friend to students, parents, alumni and employees alike.
To honor her legacy at Saint Francis, we have established a scholarship in Mrs. Tennant’s name. Your investment in this endowed fund will open doors for Lancers today and for generations to come.
