Reaching out beyond the confines of our campus, the Innovation @ Saint Francis program provides students with a variety of opportunities to engage with local and global communities in a way that is inspiring, illuminating, and impactful for all involved. By building strong partnerships with a vast range of individuals and organizations, students will develop relationships and explore untapped areas of discovery.
Our students will explore and experience areas they are passionate about so they may venture into the future prepared to learn, question, and contribute to whichever field or segment of society they choose, with the purpose of making a positive impact in the world.
A team of nine students partnered with the BioInnovation and Design Lab at Santa Clara University on a project focused on biofeedback in immersive environments that led to the creative work of Flowressence — relaxing VR experience that measures biofeedback through pulse sensors to enhance calm and address mental health.
