The Holy Cross Mission and Ministry Center provides pastoral care to anyone who is hurting and in need.

We strive to imitate the way that Jesus cared for people by providing an environment of compassionate presence, healing and comfort for anyone experiencing times of loss, unexpected crises, personal difficulties or transitions. We collaborate with the Counseling Department and the wider Saint Francis community to provide support to students in need through a variety of programs and services.

Spiritual Direction

One of the most important functions of the Holy Cross Mission and Ministry Center is to provide students a space where they can come for comfort and guidance. All members of the Holy Cross Mission and Ministry Center make themselves available to students seeking a deeper relationship with the divine. Through personal conversations and sharing, students are encouraged to cultivate and deepen their relationship with God by growing in their knowledge and appreciation of their faith and how that is lived out in their daily lives.

Services of Healing & Hope

The Holy Cross Mission and Ministry Center offers  prayer services, such as our Memorial Mass in November, for students and families who have experienced a significant loss or are dealing with the serious illness of a loved one. Contact the Holy Cross Mission and Ministry Center for more information.

Chaplaincy Services

The Holy Cross Mission and Ministry Center has a full time chaplain devoted to the spiritual needs of both the sick and the dying in our Saint Francis Community. If your family is in need of our chaplaincy services for any reason, please contact Mary Ann Ruebusch for more information.

Prayer Blanket Ministry

Both parents and educators serve in the Prayer Blanket Ministry by crocheting prayer blankets for anyone dealing with a significant loss or illness in some way. Prayer blankets are distributed during Ignite ministry gatherings or in private with those in need.
