Overall Grade & Actual Grade
Please watch the video below about the "student experience" with Imagine Learning (Edgenuity). At 45-sec it goes into detail about pacing and grading.
The actual grade is the grade the student has received for the semester with all missing assignments factored into that grade. So if a student did 5 out of 10 assignments for the year and scored a 100% on each of those 5 assignments the grade overall is going to show as 50% because of those 5 missing assignments.
The overall grade is the grade the student has received for the semester without any missing assignments factored into that score. So if a student did 5 out of 10 assignments for the year and scored a 100% on each of those 5 assignments the grade overall is going to show as 100%.
If you are behind pace, your actual grade will be lower than your overall grade. You will receive the "actual grade" on your transcript. The below scale is for transcripts.
Receiving Your Online Course Transcript
Saint Francis issues transcripts for courses taken for credit through Imagine Learning (Edgenuity), and completed by the end of the summer term. Please be sure to select your home school for transcript delivery. If you get it sent home, you are responsible to submit it to the school unopened. The transcript will list Imagine Learning (Edgenuity) as the provider. If you have marked the class for "Enrichment" you will not receive a transcript. You may request additional transcripts here after August 15:
