Giving to an endowment is a meaningful way to leave a lasting legacy that honors your family's Lancer journey and ensures future generations receive the transformative Holy Cross education that defines us.
While many endowments are designated for tuition assistance, they can also support other strategic priorities and programs, which have expanded to meet the school’s evolving needs and plans.
- Give to an Existing Endowment | Our general Saint Francis Endowment comprises more than 90 specific funds and a general fund designated for the school’s greatest needs by the board of directors. To give to an existing endowment, please use our donation form and choose “Endowment " as your gift designation option.
- Create a NEW Endowment | Creating a named endowment requires an investment of $50,000 or more and can be funded with current or appreciated assets or through a gift from your estate. Please contact Major Gift Officer Helen Solinski for more information.
Endowment Management at Saint Francis High School
Endowed funds are invested under the guidance of the school’s Endowment Management Committee to balance income and longevity. The annual endowment distribution ranges from 3-5% of the 12-quarter rolling average. Undistributed earnings are added to the market value of the endowment for future growth and distribution.
