Winston Wint's Famous Lancer Chocolate Chip Cookies
Craving the cookies that you had during your recent visit to campus? Check out Hospitality Manager Winston's cookie recipe below.
- 1/2 C — Butter
- 1/2 C — Cocoa butter
- 1 tsp — Soy blend margarine
- 1 tbsp — Soybean oil
- 1/2 C — White sugar
- 1/2 C — Brown Sugar
- 2 tbsp — Vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp — Sea salt
- 4 — Eggs
- 1 tsp — Baking powder
- 1 tbsp — Baking soda
- 2 C — Water
- 3 C — Enriched wheat flour
- 1/4 C — Molasses
- 1 tsp — Guar gum
- 1/2 C — Nonfat milk powder
- 2 C — Chocolate chips
Directions
Step 1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Step 2 Cream together the soft butter, cocoa butter, soy blend margarine, soybean oil, white sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract and sea salt until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in. Dissolve baking powder and baking soda in hot water. Stir in flour, molasses, guar gum, milk powder and chocolate chips. Roll 2-3 tablespoons depending on how large you like your cookies.
Step 3 Bake approximately 8 to 10 minutes. Take them out when they are just barely starting to turn brown. Let them sit on the baking sheet/pan for about 2 minutes.
