Overview
We are as excited as ever to bring Saint Francis Dramatic Arts into the Summer activities lineup! At our camp, campers will have the opportunity to work as a group to create and perform a 60-minute junior musical!
Through the experience, campers will be assigned roles and rehearse the show’s scenes and songs in the morning, while also having the chance to explore technical theatre in the afternoon through prop building, costume design, scene design, and more! Each session will culminate in two performances, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. These great musicals are a perfect way to spend your Summer, and we really hope you’ll join us in this exciting artistic opportunity!

Show Description
With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy. With plenty of parts to go around, including featured roles as well as ensemble parts for orphans, servants and tourists, Annie JR. is sure to be the hit of the summer!

Show Description
The Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust containing Whos, including Jojo, a Who child sent off to military school for thinking too many "thinks." Horton faces a double challenge – not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must guard an abandoned egg, left to his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping, and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family, and community are challenged and emerge triumphant.

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, we kindly ask that you carefully read through our Rules and Expectations page before registering. Once you’re ready, we’d love for you to register and secure your spot in this incredible camp today. We can’t wait to see your talent shine!
Cancellation/Refund Policy
- A full refund within 24 hours of registration.
- A 20% fee will be deducted from all refunds requested more than 24-hours after purchase.
- The last day to withdraw from all programs for a refund is June 6, 2025.
- You may request a refund directly in the Active Network system. The original 4% fee charged by Active Network is non-refundable.
- Non-SFHS students who register for a "Saint Francis only" will have their registration cancelled.
Cancellation and Refunds are handled through your Active Network account.
Non-Saint Francis students MAY NOT be registered in "Saint Francis Only" classes and these registrations are VOID. Although refunds will be processed for these registrations, the standard 20% withdrawal fee will be incurred.
