At Saint Francis High School, we believe that a family’s high school journey is not something to be watched from the sidelines. It is a shared milestone—one that is meant to be experienced in a deep, meaningful community.

We don't just build programs here; we cultivate a ministry of belonging. Lancer Family Connection (LFC) exists to ensure that every parent, guardian and family feels seen, known and deeply valued. We move past the traditional model of "checking volunteer boxes" to invite you into authentic, lifelong relationships.

A Complementary Mosaic

We often say that a healthy parent community isn’t made of identical "unicorns" who can do everything. It is a beautiful mosaic. Every family brings a unique set of gifts, temperaments and life seasons to our school.

Whether your heart is drawn to quiet, behind-the-scenes service, bold hospitality at campus check-ins, or offering seasoned guidance as a parent mentor, there is a seat at the table reserved specifically for you.

Guided by Our Core Virtues

We look for and celebrate parent leadership anchored in:

  • Humility — Quiet, joyful service that values community unity over personal credit or titles.
  • Fortitude — The steady, patient consistency to show up and support our students over the long haul.
  • Integrity — Approaching all parent encounters with construction, discretion, and deep respect.
  • Charity — Love expressed as presence—actively seeking out those standing alone on the margins.
  • Prudence — Respecting the boundaries and varied seasons of high school family life.

Your Place in the Lancer Journey

LFC meets you exactly where you are in the lifecycle of your family:

  • Incoming Parents (Class of 2030) — Welcome to our family! High school is a transition for you, too. Through our localized Neighborhood Mentor Groups and summer socials, we provide a warm "home base" to help you find your footing and build local friendships right where you live.
  • Current Parents — Deepen your roots. From visual arts events and athletic hospitality to classroom proctoring and parent huddles, we offer dozens of flexible, joy-filled ways to connect with fellow parents while supporting student life.
  • Legacy & Alumni Parents (Class of 2026 & Beyond) — Your student graduated, but you didn't. The relationships you forged are permanent. We invite our legacy parents to remain active anchors, trusted advisors and mentors for those just starting the journey.

When you are ready to jump into action, our current community needs are hosted on our parent-to-parent volunteer site. Every shift begins with a hospitality huddle, a brief prayer and a "peek behind the curtain" so you walk away with a friendship, not just a completed task.
