Open to rising 6th – 9th graders from any school.
Advanced Sports Camps are designed to provide players an opportunity to improve their skill and knowledge level of a particular sport. All camps are taught by Saint Francis High School coaches and most participants take the camp in our well-maintained state of the art athletic facilities. Review the schedule and descriptions for each camp below. Players are welcome to attend as many week-long camps as they desire.
Note: Camps are open to only certain grades. All grades listed below are relative to a student's "rising" grade level, that is, the grade the student will be in the Fall.
Details for Advanced Sports Camp

All of offerings include Advanced camps, with Beginner-Intermediate camps added for a select number of sports to suit every skill level.
- Advanced camps are designed for campers who are already familiar with the sport and are looking to take their skills to the next level.
- Beginner-Intermediate camps are perfect for newcomers who wish to learn the fundamentals and build a strong foundation in their game.
No matter where you’re starting, we have a camp for you to grow, improve, and have fun!
We will be listing additional Advanced Sports programs as they become available.
After Camp Care
Not able to pick up your camper at 2:30pm? No Problem!
After Camp Care is available to all Sports & Activity Camp participants. Parents who wish to utilize the After Camp Care Program may do so at a nominal cost. The After Camp Care Program will provide arts and craft materials, books, videos and a collection of games, as well as an afternoon snack and drink.
- Monday - Friday after each camp
- 2:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Swim Lessons
Swim Lessons
Swim lessons are offered after each camp day, with a Student-Teacher ratio of 6:1. Lessons are broken up by level, which is selected during online registration. Descriptions of levels, including prerequisites and what is learned at each level, are below.
- Lesson Period — 2:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Tuition — TBA
Beginner (Level 1)
- Prerequisite: Child must be comfortable in the water without a parent and able to swim a short distance (5 yards, horizontal, face and eyes down) with splashy kicks.
- What they will learn: Swimming and breathing without the assistance of fins. Arm stretching techniques in preparation for freestyle and the back stroke kicking and body positioning. The child is ready for the next level when she/he can swim on stomach and back without 12 1/2 yards.
Novice (Level 2)
- Prerequisite: Child must be able to swim unassisted on front and back for 12 1/2 yards.
- What they will learn: Over the water arm recovery, side breathing, backstroke arms. The child is ready for the next level when he/she can swim freestyle with side breathing, backstroke for 12 1/2 yards each. Tread water for 30 seconds.
Intermediate (Level 3)
- Prerequisite: Child must be able to swim freestyle with side breathing and Backstroke for 12 ½ yards.
- What they will learn: Fine tune freestyle and backstroke, learn breaststroke and dolphin kick. The child is ready for the next level when she/he can complete 25 yards of freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke (with glide) and dolphin kick. Tread water for 60 seconds.
Advanced (Level 4)
- Prerequisite: Complete 25 yards of freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke (with glide) and dolphin kick.
- What they will learn: Racing starts, flip turns, basic competition workout knowledge.

Cancellation/Refund Policy
- A full refund within 24 hours of registration.
- A 20% fee will be deducted from all refunds requested more than 24-hours after purchase.
- The last day to withdraw from all programs for a refund is June 6, 2025.
- You may request a refund directly in the Active Network system. The original 4% fee charged by Active Network is non-refundable.
- non-SFHS students who register for a "Saint Francis only" will have their registration cancelled.
Cancellation and Refunds are handled through your Active Network account.
Non-Saint Francis students MAY NOT be registered in "Saint Francis Only" classes and these registrations are VOID. Although refunds will be processed for these registrations, the standard 20% withdrawal fee will be incurred.
