Lancer Family Connection
Lancer Family Connection (LFC) helps parents and families build meaningful connections within our Saint Francis community through volunteer opportunities, events and engagement programs rooted in our Holy Cross values. Whether you have a few hours to give or are looking for a deeper way to get involved, there is a place for you. We invite you to visit the Lancer Family Connection page to discover pathways for involvement and engagement with our community.
Discover Your Place
We don't just want your help—we want to build a relationship with you. Our Discover Your Place Form helps us learn about your interests, talents and availability so we can connect you with opportunities that are meaningful and rewarding.
This brief form is not a commitment to volunteer; it's simply the first step in helping us find the right fit for you within our community. Please take two minutes to share your interests and schedule:
Schoology Parent Groups
Schoology Parent Groups provide an online space for parents to connect with one another, ask questions, share resources and stay informed. Grade-level groups help families build relationships and engage with the broader Saint Francis community throughout the year.
For more information visit the Schoology Parent Groups page and login to Schoology. On this page you can watch a how-to video and learn how to get started.

Become a Saint Francis Fund Ambassador
Extraordinary schools are built by extraordinary communities.
The Saint Francis Fund is the school’s annual unrestricted giving program, providing philanthropic support for the highest priorities and greatest opportunities at Saint Francis each year. Every gift strengthens our mission and helps make an extraordinary education possible for every student.
Our Saint Francis Fund Ambassador Program brings together parents, alumni, grandparents and friends who believe in the power of participation and the importance of investing in every student's experience. Ambassadors help cultivate a culture of philanthropy by sharing their own connection to Saint Francis, encouraging meaningful conversations, welcoming new families, and inspiring others to make the Saint Francis Fund a priority.
You don't need fundraising experience, just a love for Saint Francis and a willingness to champion its mission. Whether you connect one-on-one with another family, host a small gathering, or simply share why you choose to give, your voice helps strengthen our community and expand opportunities for every Lancer.
Join us in building a tradition of generosity that ensures Saint Francis continues to thrive for today's students and for generations to come.
Interested in becoming a Saint Francis Fund Ambassador? We'd love to hear from you.
Timely Information & Resources

Course & Book List
To view your course list and required textbook list for the 2026-27 school year, visit Aurora and enter your student ID, then click BNC Book list to view textbooks and materials (not all courses require a textbook).
Please note that you can only view your course list and textbook list if all required forms have been submitted to PowerSchool. If you encounter an issue, please email enrollment@sfhs.com.
You can’t find your student ID number or are having technical issues please contact support@sfhs.com.

Course Change Requests
Course change requests may be submitted between July 7-July 31 using the link below. July should be the primary time for making a schedule change request. Waiting until the start of school makes change requests much more difficult, and may not be fulfilled. While we will do our best to accommodate course change requests, please understand that not all changes may be possible. Once a request is submitted, it may take up to a week for you to receive a response indicating the status of your request.

Summer Reading
Book lists for English and AP courses in World Language, Science and Social Studies are posted.

Liturgy Wardrobe
Students are required to wear approved Saint Francis branded clothing to all liturgies and special occasions. We are pleased to introduce Logo Locker as our new provider of liturgy wear. Required liturgy attire includes a Saint Francis branded dress shirt with black or khaki slacks. An optional liturgy ¼ zip pullover is also available for purchase. Please note, the skirts and brown liturgy sweaters have been discontinued.
All students will need to wear their liturgy shirts (ties optional) for school photos the week of August 10. It is recommended that families order liturgy gear by July 10 to provide enough time for orders to arrive by the start of school.
Dress Code
Please be sure to review our dress code prior to completing your back-to-school wardrobe shopping. Our student Moreau Board works collaboratively with our educators to review the dress code annually, and it is important that our students clearly understand these expectations. Please reach out to the Deans’ Office with any questions.

Student-Parent Handbook
The Student-Parent Handbook provides information on our school programs and is designed to help families and students better understand our policies and expectations so that all our students can succeed and thrive in our community.

Senior Portraits
Now and Forever Studios is the official photographer for Saint Francis High School Senior Portraits. They have opened their online appointments for our Class of 2027. For your senior portrait to appear in our yearbook, you must have your portrait taken by December 18, 2026. Book your appointment today!

Picture Day
Generations School Photography will be on campus to take student photos. Freshman class photos will take place on Wednesday, August 12. Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors will take place on Thursday, August 13. There is no purchase required. These photos are important for many reasons, including the Student ID. Proofs and ordering information, if you do wish to purchase, will be emailed two weeks after our last picture day.

Carpool & Sustainable Transportation
As a proud California Green Ribbon School Green Achiever, Saint Francis is committed to promoting sustainable transportation options that support environmental stewardship and help reduce traffic congestion in our surrounding neighborhoods.
Families are encouraged to explore the transportation resources available through our Sustainable Transportation Program, including public transit subsidies, bicycle resources and user groups, secure bike parking on campus and carpooling opportunities. Our interactive carpool map helps connect families who are interested in sharing rides to and from campus.
To ensure the carpool map remains an effective resource, please verify that your contact information is current and indicate your interest in carpooling. By choosing sustainable transportation options whenever possible, our community can reduce vehicle trips, ease traffic impacts and contribute to our ongoing sustainability efforts.

Visit the Mission & Ministry page for upcoming Masses, retreat opportunities, immersion experiences and details about completing and tracking service hours.

Athletics
For students interested in participating in sports during the upcoming school year, our athletic department has information regarding athletic clearances. For the 2026-27 school year, students must obtain athletic clearance with physical exams being dated May 28, 2026 or after.
Why May 28, 2026 and after?
A physical exam is valid for 365 days from the day it is administered, and this date (and anytime after) ensures that the majority of our student-athletes will be cleared throughout the fall, winter and spring seasons without going past that 365-day window. Our goal is to make the athletic clearance process more efficient for all stakeholders, including parents, coaches and our athletic department.
What do I need to do to obtain athletic clearance?
After receiving a physical exam by your healthcare provider, please follow these step-by-step instructions to complete the Saint Francis athletic clearance process:
Athletics Cleance Instructions
After submitting this application you will receive a confirmation email informing you of a successful upload.
If you are interested in trying out for a fall sport, please make note of the the tryout dates.
