The Journalism program supports the growing demand of media arts and literacy in the 21st century.
Through writing, editing, and publishing articles and photographs, students gain hands-on experience to cultivate critical-thinking skills and sharpen their ability to analyze and convey complex information. This process not only enhances their academic abilities but also prepares them for future endeavors in any field that values communication and analytical skills.
Students are engaged in multi-platform journalism, publishing in print, online, and social media. Students learn how to run their own programs, research, communicate, and market to several different audiences.
