LANCER LANDING TAILGATE!
Lancers, your pregame just got an upgrade! Join us for Trunk or Treat in Lancer Landing on Friday, October 23, before the Bellarmine game. Lancer Landing is our free tailgate in the South Lot, right outside the main stadium entrance. It’s a chance to hang with your friends, show off your club’s creativity, and kick off game night with Lancer spirit. Families and fans from across our community will be there too, so come show them what makes Saint Francis special.
When: Lot opens for setup at 4:45pm. Student hosts, please arrive by 6pm so we can park cars in order of arrival, back to front. Kickoff is at 7:00pm.
Host with your club, team, or friend group: Reserve a spot to set up your own tailgate by Thursday, October 22 at 8pm. That means more than a parking space. Decorate your trunk, bring treats or games, and welcome everyone who stops by. Non-alcoholic beverages only. Not up for hosting? Come by anyway! Walk the trunks with your friends, grab a treat, say hi to families and fans, and head into the stands together.

2026 Congressional App Challenge 
Registration for the 2026 Congressional App Challenge is now open! Since 2016, over 50,000 middle and high schoolers across the United States have created apps representing their passions, values, and service to our community. I welcome your students to participate once again this year. 
I invite middle and high school students living in or attending school in the 16th Congressional District to participate. The program welcomes students of all coding skill levels, including beginners and provides resources to help students learn. Participants may register individually or in teams of up to four and use any programming language (e.g., C, C++, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or block code) and any platform (e.g., PC, web, tablet, robot, or mobile device). 
For this year’s challenge, we suggest students create an app that helps residents access vital federal, state, or local benefits and services. I welcome students to learn more about federal agencies and the App Challenge to inform submissions. Apps are due on October 26, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time.
