Lancer Ambassadors

Coming up in January we have many important events for Admissions as we welcome future Lancers to campus for the HSPT exams and interview nights. Please read more about the purpose for each event, the type of environment we are seeking to create, and needs from student leaders before signing up. We would love to have you for any and all events!

Science Department

Any student who wishes to be considered for chemistry-honors or physics-honors for next school year must register and take the qualifying exam for that course. The registration form can be found here  or in your school email with more information. All registrations, including current honors students, must be completed by 3 PM on Thursday, January 22. The exams will be administered either during collaboration on January 27 for current biology/chemistry students, or in current biology-honors/chemistry-honors classes on a date near there. This is an all-school-scheduled event, so students are expected to take it on their scheduled date unless there is an excused absence for illness or service retreat. If you cannot take it for these reasons, you should email the Science Department Chair to be on the list for the make-up date (on January 29 or Feb 2 at collaboration). You may also ask your current science teacher or email the Science Department Chair, Dr. Jennifer Thomas, with any questions about science courses for next year.

Jostens is our official supplier for Graduation items. A representative was here to help seniors place their orders for their cap and gown. Those will be handed out at graduation practive. Please visit the Jostens website for information regarding graduation announcements and other items.
