Fall Musical

Kicking off each school year, the Fall Musical takes the stage in the Innovation Theater, performing within the first seven weeks of school. The show typically features a cast of 10-20 actors and several technical theatre positions. Past productions include Into the Woods (2026) and Godspell (2025).

Lancer student leadership shines bright in this production slot, with the entire show student-run from design to direction and overseen by a faculty moderator. Seniors can apply to direct the show early in the second semester of the previous year, and any interested student is encouraged to apply! Cast and crew sizes vary by title. Past productions include You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (2026), The Lightning Thief (2025), and Freaky Friday (2024).

Winter Play

Ringing in the new year, this production allows students to explore the power of theatrical storytelling without music and dance as a primary medium. Taking place on a condensed timeline, the show teaches students to work within a tight schedule and discover which elements are truly necessary to portray a narrative. It typically has a cast of 10+ actors and several technical theatre positions. Past productions include Clue (2025), Rumors (2024), and A Gift to Remember (2023).

Spring Musical

Finishing off each year’s season is our large-scale annual spring musical. With elaborate sets, flashy costumes, and singing and dancing that will make audiences want to leap from their seats, this production embodies a truly grand theatrical experience. Every year, 75+ students participate, from actors and technical crew to a student pit orchestra! Students can expand their crafts while working together to build community. Past productions include The Wizard of Oz (2026), High School Musical (2025), and Footloose (2024).
