I am deeply grateful for the partnership we share in the Holy Cross mission of Saint Francis High School. Each day I am reminded of the trust you place in our educators as they accompany your children in growing in faith, scholarship and leadership. Your support and encouragement strengthen the joyful and vibrant spirit that makes Saint Francis such an incredible place of formation for our students.

This past year has been a remarkable one for our Saint Francis community. Our students continue to expand their leadership across campus through new academic, sustainability and Campus Ministry initiatives, guided by educators who are helping them navigate a rapidly changing world. I am especially grateful to these educators, who accompany students as mentors and role models, encouraging them to explore new ideas, take on new challenges and grow in confidence and purpose.

We are especially proud that Saint Francis was recognized this year as a 2025 California Green Ribbon School, one of only five schools and the only Catholic school in California, honored at the highest Green Achiever level. This award celebrates schools demonstrating exceptional leadership in sustainability, student wellness and environmental education, and reflects the remarkable collaboration between our students and educators as they integrate environmental stewardship into our curriculum, campus practices and student life.

Inspired by the call of Laudato si’ and the Holy Cross tradition of educating the whole person, our community continues to engage thoughtfully with the most important questions facing the next generation. Our students are exploring how faith, ethics and responsibility guide our response to emerging challenges including environmental stewardship and the opportunities and complexities of new technologies such as artificial intelligence.

Guided by dedicated educators, these conversations are opening new opportunities for interdisciplinary learning, innovation and leadership across campus. Whether through sustainability initiatives, emerging work in technology and AI, or the continued growth of our Campus Ministry programs, our faculty are helping students develop the intellectual curiosity, moral grounding and sense of purpose needed to lead in a rapidly changing world. They are also actively exploring how AI can support learning while helping students understand the ethical responsibilities that accompany powerful new technologies.

We are also grateful for the leadership of our Board of Directors, whose thoughtful stewardship continues to position Saint Francis for a strong and sustainable future. Each year the Board undertakes a careful review of the school’s budget and long-term planning to ensure that we can continue investing in the programs and educators who make Saint Francis exceptional while maintaining accessibility for families.

Because the strength of Saint Francis depends so deeply on the educators who guide our students each day, the Board places particular emphasis on ensuring that we can continue to attract, support and develop the leadership of outstanding educators who are committed to our mission. Approximately 70% of our Saint Francis operating budget is invested directly in the salaries and benefits of the educators who serve our students each day.

After careful deliberation, the Board of Directors has set tuition for the 2026–2027 school year at $30,550. While any increase requires careful consideration, this adjustment allows us to continue investing in our educators and programs while keeping Saint Francis among the most accessible Catholic college-preparatory schools in Silicon Valley.

At the same time, we remain deeply committed to affordability and access for our families. We will continue to partner with families who need tuition assistance, and the generosity of our community through the Saint Francis Fund and endowment programs allow us to provide meaningful tuition support for families with demonstrated need. We are deeply grateful for the support of our community in ensuring that Holy Cross education remains accessible to all families.

Thank you for your continued trust and partnership in this shared mission. Together, we will further the Holy Cross mission of Saint Francis by forming young people of faith, scholarship and leadership who are prepared to serve the world with hope and purpose.

I look forward with great gratitude and excitement to the year ahead at Saint Francis!

Yours in Holy Cross,

Dear Saint Francis Families,

The following is information about our annual re-enrollment process. In years past, this information was sent out in April however, with changes to our tuition billing platform for the upcoming 2026-27 school year, we felt it was important to provide this valuable information to our families as early as possible.

Beginning with our 2026-2027 academic year, Saint Francis High School will transition from Blackbaud Tuition Management to our new billing platform, Clarity Tuition Management. This change is being made to simplify the experience for families by reducing the number of systems parents are asked to use. The new billing platform is the same system currently used for tuition assistance, allowing families to manage all of their tuition needs in one place. Our goal in making this change is to provide:

  • A more streamlined and user-friendly experience
  • Fewer logins and systems to navigate
  • Greater consistency between tuition assistance and billing information

On Friday, April 17, 2026, you will receive an email from Clarity asking you to set up your account and sign an enrollment contract. As part of the contract, you will be asked to choose your payment plan and pay the non-refundable enrollment deposit (initial tuition payment) plus any administrative fees that may apply based on your payment plan selection. One parent or guardian will be asked to sign the contract. Your student will be considered enrolled when the contract has been signed and when the non-refundable enrollment deposit has been paid in full. The deadline to sign the contract is May 5, 2026.

Tuition for our 2026-27 academic year is $30,550, and the non-refundable enrollment deposit (initial tuition payment) is $1,500. After this enrollment deposit is paid, the remaining balance of your tuition will be $29,050. Your second tuition payment to Clarity Tuition Management is due in July 2026. For our rising senior class of 2027, a Graduation Fee ($150) will also be included in the July payment. For families who qualified for tuition assistance for the 2026-2027 school year and have a complete application, your grant amount will be included in your enrollment contract and will be posted in your Clarity Tuition Management account. If your tuition assistance application is not complete, your application status will be reflected as incomplete. The amount of your non-refundable enrollment deposit will be adjusted according to your percentage of tuition assistance.

If your student will not be returning next year, you must contact Simon Raines, Director of Admissions (650-968-1213 x213) before Friday, April 24, 2026, so the Business Office can deactivate your Clarity Tuition Management account.

For questions about Clarity Tuition Management and tuition payments, feel free to email Aarti Singh in our business office or call 650-968-1213 x233. For questions about tuition assistance, please email Maryann O’Leary or call 650-968-1213 x234.

We thank you for your commitment to Saint Francis High School, and we are excited about welcoming you back for our 2026-2027 school year.

Sincerely,
