Winston Wint's Famous Lancer Chocolate Chip Cookies

Craving the cookies that you had during your recent visit to campus? Check out Hospitality Manager Winston's cookie recipe below.

1/2 C — Butter
1/2 C — Cocoa butter
1 tsp — Soy blend margarine
1 tbsp — Soybean oil
1/2 C — White sugar
1/2 C — Brown Sugar
2 tbsp — Vanilla extract
1/2 tsp — Sea salt
4 — Eggs

1 tsp — Baking powder
1 tbsp — Baking soda
2 C — Water
3 C — Enriched wheat flour
1/4 C — Molasses
1 tsp — Guar gum
1/2 C — Nonfat milk powder
2 C — Chocolate chips

Directions

Step 1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2 Cream together the soft butter, cocoa butter, soy blend margarine, soybean oil, white sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract and sea salt until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in. Dissolve baking powder and baking soda in hot water. Stir in flour, molasses, guar gum, milk powder and chocolate chips. Roll 2-3 tablespoons depending on how large you like your cookies.

Step 3 Bake approximately 8 to 10 minutes. Take them out when they are just barely starting to turn brown. Let them sit on the baking sheet/pan for about 2 minutes.
